I don’t know where to start. Jasper, my blog whisperer at KLM, has sent me four or five different schedules for the Amsterdam 2013 festivities. I’m spoilt for choice. Shall I start by telling you about the opening of the Rijksmuseum? Or should I delight you with the musical history of the Concertgebouw and its… read more »

Curaçao is a favourite destination among KLM crews. That’s no surprise. There’s sun and sea, and a lovely holiday feeling everywhere. That’s especially the case on Fuikdag — the best unorganised boat party in the Caribbean. Fishnet Bay I had requested this trip so I could visit a friend who lives on the island. He… read more »

It isn’t hard to imagine an Indonesian Wayang master using this as a backdrop for a romantic encounter between two shadow puppets. Those may seem… read more »

If you ever get a chance to be in Tokyo, don’t stay shut up in your hotel room. Sushi, Harajuku teenagers, cherry blossom: there’s enough to photograph. However, you make it very hard for yourself if you decide to go to Tsukiji fish market, especially if you have a jet lag, because it starts very… read more »
