While Christmas may be over, it is still winter in the Northern Hemisphere, so I guess it is appropriate to continue singing ‘tis the season…
Winter weather continues to blanket Europe and areas of North America, so before you fly you should consider checking your flight status before heading to the airport. No one likes to get all packed up, get to the check-in counter and find out you’ve got no place to go.
Weather can be frustrating; it is out of everyone’s control. Passengers detest foul weather because it delays their travel; airlines detest foul weather because it creates angry passengers and costs them money; airports detest foul weather because everyone seems to blame the airport for delayed and cancelled flights.
…so before you go to the airport, find out your flights status and save yourself the stress and reduce the congestion at the airport. You’ll make everyone happier.

If you’re flying an airline other than KLM, you might want to check out FlightStats’ website, I find them quite reliable. If you’re an iPhone or iPod Touch user, consider downloading the MyGateNow or Flight Update Pro Apps for your iPhone or iPod Touch.
