Travelling, meeting, experiencing, writing, taking photographs – these five activities pretty much sum up what makes me tick. When travelling, I meet people, experience all sorts of things, write about it and take photographs of it. I have an incredible urge to record and remember for later enjoyment or as Milan Kundera would say: “Happiness is the longing for repetition”. And this also applies to sharing with others. Writing about my meetings with passengers is my way of holding on to the memories. Working in the travel industry as a tour guide and hostess, and now as a KLM cabin attendant, I’ve come to understand that people, in this case passengers, bring depth to what I do. I provide them with food and drink, they provide me with stories. I love it!
