KLM Insta-Inspiration: October…. Celebrate Good Times
This month, because KLM celebrated its 98th anniversary, I went looking for the best photos and stories with a “Celebrate Good Times” content via #klm
1. “Made it to Curacao with the best possible service #klm”

Katja and her friend Pascal, an aircraft engineer from the Netherlands were celebrating their first holiday together. They chose for sunny Curacao. The beautiful, colourful images they saw in Willemstad, intimate beaches and the seamless KLM connection from Stockholm prompted them to choose this KLM destination. “Cheers Katja and Pascal!”

Daphne was awarded her wing in October. After a period of selection, inflight & flight safety training, her dream came true. “For me, my wing basically means I’ve succeeded in conquering myself; prevailing over uncertainty, which I set aside to follow my dream. And I’ve achieved just that! I’m proud to wear my new wing, as a fledgling in a Blue world.” I wish you lots of flying fun Daphne; see you soon on a beautiful KLM flight!

“The gifting season is about to start again, prompting us to do a nice photo shoot of atmospheric images in the December edition of the Sky High Collection Magazine. This will certainly boost sales. We used the balloons in the photo. It was a great week with lots to celebrate. We enjoy celebrating at our department, when we succeed and when someone new joins (or leaves) our team. We were also nominated as the Best Inflight Retailer for 2017 (Frontier Awards). Unfortunately we didn’t win, but the nomination indicates that we’re close to the top,” says Rinske. Good times for an exceptional KLM department and a photo of balloons ties in with this festive blog.
4. “Traveling with kids…you must love it…#klm”

Almost weekly, Monique’s job as a fashion model takes her to destinations within and beyond Europe from Schiphol. “Often without the kids, but in this picture I went with my family to Kitzbuhel in Austria (via Munich). We built a real estate project there last year and were off for a visit. But we also took a wonderful autumn stroll in the mountains the day after this photo.” A nice midweek break in Austria with her family and then off to Manchester again on Monday as a fashion model. Frequently flying good times!

Nina lived on the beautiful Maldives. She clearly loves islands because she’s now working on Bali. She lives in Jakarta and she flew to Amsterdam from there on the day of KLM’s anniversary. Team KLM Jakarta treated all the passengers to this red velvet, mocha cream topping cupcake – what a party!

KLM recently celebrated its 98th anniversary; Fokker has been celebrating this jointly with us for 97 years (!). Unfortunately, this was the last anniversary we’ll be celebrating together with Fokker. Cabin attendant Lorena is extremely proud that she had the opportunity to fly around Europe in this impressive plane. So long, farewell….
