Look at them Shine!

Last week Saturday, we installed four new KLM logos on the roof of our Head Office and the Roemer Building in Amstelveen. A gift to ourselves on our 95th anniversary (yesterday!), and a fresh new start as we head for KLM’s centenary.

The three logos at Head Office are 4.5 metres high and more than 7.5 metres wide. The letter K, L and M are each around 1.5 metres in height. One of the main differences is that the new logos use LED lighting. This is not only a sustainable solution, but also ensures even brighter colours. Two of the design criteria were that the logos should be recognisable from the street, but also from the air.

The old logos had been around for more than 35 years. The metal frame was restored and reused in the new design.
