Daisy Ooms

Daisy is a Medical Specialist in Public Health, communicable disease control. For seven years she worked at the Municipal Health Service Kennemerland, where she was involved in preparedness and response and the implementation of the International Health Regulations at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

Since August 2019 Daisy started working as MD International Medical Advice at KLM Health Services, Royal Dutch Airlines. She advises on prevention and health for people abroad and infectious diseases related to aviation. Daisy was temporarily employed at the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), where she took part in the EU-project Joint Action Healthy Gateways, to improve the preparedness and response to cross-border health threats in the (air)transport sector.
